Both beaches are great for swimming, tanning, long walks, surfing, kite flying, kite surfing, skim boarding and exploring tide pools.
Ocean View Cottage is very comfortable in all seasons. The very large, redwood, oceanview living room with cozy gas fireplace and three very comfortable sofas is very relaxing for cable TV, VHS and DVD viewing. There is also a queen bed with privacy drape. The large bedroom with a pillowtop queen bed, walk in closet & private TV w/cable has access to the bathroom as well as the alcove room fitted with a twin bed. WiFi/wireless internet throughout.The bathroom can be accessed without disturbing either the bedroom or bed alcove room from the kitchen as well. The bathroom with very deep tub/shower is truly peaceful and relaxing after a day at the beach. There are views from almost every window of the Cypress hedge that surrounds the home.
From the 500 square foot deck view the Ocean with sailboats sailing by, pelicans flying overhead as well as rare birds from the wildlife lagoon.. A hot outdoor shower is perfect for sandy souls. Ocean View Cottage is located on a cottage lined street just seven homes from the best beaches in Santa Cruz. Walking distance to several points of interest and fun restaurants.
